Top 10 Biggest Creator Modular Building Review

The Creator Expert modular building series has pleased many LEGO fans around the world. Today we wanted to take a look at the top 10 biggest Creator Expert building block at all times.

1.  Town Hall

2.  Pet Shop 

Set no: 10218

First Released :  May 12, 2011

Needless to say, this is deifnately one of my favourite buildings ever. it’s two complete but separate buildings, each on their own 16×32 baseplate. This way, they are able to be placed in the row separately, or in any order you wish. I really like this feature, as you can also use a single building in a MOC if you want. It’s a very versatile set.

3.  Cafe Corner

First Released :  October 24 , 2007

A lovely selection of brown, red, tan, gray, and much surprisingly blue. A decent variety including plates, windows, doors, slopes, and arches.A decent amount of time is required but the result is very pleasing. The tiles for the street at the beginning are very tedious, the windows on the second floor bothersome, but an impressive arsenal of clever techniques provide refreshing breaks from these moments.

4.  Grand Emporium

Having 2 almost identical top floors is a twist on the corner design and a neat idea to make it much easier to build higher versions – I really like this as many of these department stores have near-identical middle facades.The colour scheme is a lot lighter and warmer – and more inviting – than its predecessors. Even Green Grocer feels ‘darker’ with the black/ bley roof. All it lacks is a PF sound brick playing ‘muzak’ on repeat for the full consumer experience

5.  Palace Cinema

The Palace Cinema modular is by no means new. It was first released in 2013, and has been seen on shelves pretty steadily since then. Being a modular building, it comes with a large variety of elements, some of which are new, many others that aren’t. This a recolour, and a welcome one! I quite like it.

6.  Fire Brigade 

Set no: 10197

Minifigures: 4

First Released :  September 12, 2008

Colours a great, Design is great – nearly perfect. But just “nearly” – so just 9 Points. Put tiles on the floors, add grass, flowers, improve the tree and add a Bed and a table – then it is a 10. I will do those things and put it here int the next days.

7.  Detective’s Office

First Released :  January 1, 2015

The Detective’s Office is another set that came with a play feature, but unlike other Modular Buildings, it came with a story too. I personally really liked that the little addition to this et, and kind of wish it would have continued in the theme.

8.  Green Grocer

First Released :  March 5, 2008

his is an incredible set and the best of the three in my opinion.I absolutely love all the details and building techniques that went into making this set. There is a ton of different parts and wide color selection. As usual, we get a bunch of tiles and small plates, but that goes with the series. Also, we get four minifigs and lots of minifig accessories.

9.  Brick Bank

First Released :  January 2, 2016

I simply cannot decide where this set ranks among the other Modular Buildings. I love the subject matter and the level of detail is fantastic but the same can be said for Detective’s Office, at least in my opinion. Regardless, it is certainly one of the best and I am delighted that the set lives up to my high expectations.

10. Parisian Restaurant 

Set no: 10243

Minifigures: 5

First Released :  January 1, 2014

Parisian Restaurant is considered one of the best in terms of exterior and interior design, and this is easily seen when building the set. It’s incredibly beautiful, and a lot of fun to put together.Wonderful and interesting build, resulting in an excellent display piece. In one word: Superb!
